I just caught this on Mandarin Channel. It's a way-cheesy wuxia film with a little bit of mystery-thriller thrown in. But overall it's boring unless you're a sucker for wire-fu and stoic prettyboys with swords. (a government agent investigating mysterious killings PLUS two of the swordsmen dueling on top of the forbidden city with limited seating PLUS a possible plot against the emporer and maybe even a stolen jade artifact, etc.)

I just thought the subtitled names of the two main characters are a hoot: Simon the Snow Blower and Cool Son Yeah (any relation to WEY?)

I thought this was going to be about the Steven Spielberg film. I can take or leave these wire-fu films these days, seen it all.
