Don't know what the york cup is, don't really care.
Not really sure why there is a truce either, truce with a group we don't need any respect from, wasn't causing us any grief and was run by a bunch of utter retards who have recently dissapeared, don't see any benefit to 5punk myself.

Because if we handle this right and get what we want*, we'll make york and shartak a much better place for everyone and basically horse the colonial police to pull their act together.mrbobbins wrote:Not really sure why there is a truce either, truce with a group we don't need any respect from, wasn't causing us any grief and was run by a bunch of utter retards who have recently dissapeared, don't see any benefit to 5punk myself.
*we will, on both counts.
That's obviously among our demands, although we expect some opposition to that idea from the owner of the horse brothel.mrbobbins wrote:
free horse loving in the street?
More seriously, our major demand is for greater transparency and uniformity of justice, i.e. no death penalty for shouting "WILLIES!", defacing a hut, or being a member of a particular group; with a view to eventually setting up some form of impartial court system in York.
I'll be honest, I think we're moving a little too close to grown up, no fun, sensible territory (what we came her to prevent).
I still think they're all cunts and I would happily bum rape each and every one of the arrogant tossbags. But as it's not teh 5punky way, I'll wait and see what happens post-York Cup.
I say we should try and make a truce with the Zombies in Urban Dead instead. That'd be loads more fun...

Don't you think that war with the Colonial Police in York was getting a little boring, though? Especially given that with a base of operations like the Waugh Arms, it became relatively easy for any Colonial Police member or their allies to find one of us to kill, making it merely a war of attrition (and in a game where you can die and come back to life several times a die, wars of attrition can take a very long time).tandino wrote:I'll be honest, I think we're moving a little too close to grown up, no fun, sensible territory (what we came her to prevent).

This way, we'll have made real change in York in as non-serious a way as possible, and we'll still have the freedom to shout "WILLIES!" as much as possible, to grope random passers-by, to hold horselove sessions on the beach, and of course to run a pub.
Tandino's made a good point actually, and one that Malice has brought up too. We've made our point with CP and achieved our goals, which were to stop them killing us every time we went into York and to show them that they shouldn't have fucked with us in the first place.
I'm not one for random killings like Malice, but I'd like us to do something sillier than having a pub (even though I like the Waugh).
How's about we make a huge CDC in the jungle out of cleared squares? You should be able to see it from the map hopefully.

Fair point, I'm in agreement here but there's finding something interesting and fun to do and there's forging an alliance with a group of joy killing bellends. What's to say that Kjendlie isn't gonna go back to exactly how he was before as soon as he has a few people behind him once again? I'll be very surprised if he's just gonna roll over and take it (surprised and disappointed - I like it rough and non-consensual). He's a stubborn and overzealous swan-wank, It'll be a cold day in Hell when he accepts us.eion wrote:

Besides, it's just a game...

I still think we should take the truce offering and return to our previous way of life, but with added pub.
We really don't have to take it seriously, but for those of us who enjoy shartak beyond the having a fight thing. I feel it's important for us to have the ability to go back to our peaceful lives should we choose to do so.
also, making a CDC in the jungle will be easier if we're not considered KOS by half the island.

We have this covered very well indeed, any agreement we make will be of public record in many places and going back on it will just get the CP destroyed by the island.tandino wrote:What's to say that Kjendlie isn't gonna go back to exactly how he was before as soon as he has a few people behind him once again? So long as the truce doesn't turn into an alliance. I would like to still be able to view the miserable cunts with utter disdain.Dr. kitteny berk wrote:

Also I'd like to still be able to slap them with a machete a few times then heal them. I think it's what Oztec would've wanted.

Seems fair.tandino wrote:So long as the truce doesn't turn into an alliance. I would like to still be able to view the miserable cunts with utter disdain.
You will be able to, however if they decide to punish you, that's up to them, it just won't affect the rest of 5punk. (once this is all sorted)tandino wrote:Also I'd like to still be able to slap them with a machete a few times then heal them. I think it's what Oztec would've wanted.
They shouldn't be allowed to punish us, we own them! I demand political and legal immunity!Dr. kitteny berk wrote:

So be it, angry overlord/well adjusted, 5punky diplomat. Do thy bidding.

First of all, a truce is not the same thing as an alliance.tandino wrote:

Regarding the courts proposal, I realize it's not as fun as mooning people or jungle horselove under a moonlit sky. However, I think it's important, because it provides an alternative to the Colonial Police in a way that hopefully most groups in York and beyond will support, and thus will prevent Kjendlie and the Colonial Police from reverting to their bad old ways. Hopefully at some point, it won't be the Colonial Police punishing people at all, but a new and impartial system.
I'm not saying that anyone should love the Colonial Police in a platonic/consensual way - continue to view them with utter disdain if you wish. However, personally I'm willing to work with them and do the boring stuff (that's what alts are for, after all), and I believe that doing so will allow us to move on to more interesting things (like drawing CDCs on the world map).
