What do you want in the hardware/software forum?

If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

Aha! I'm back online again, with router and modem and big surge protector and a big pile of boxes and courier bags. It's only taken me an hour and a half. Not so fail now huh?

It would be better if you only had one of each box and courier bag.

Back to overclocking, my PC has been a little funny since I've upped the speeds. Graphics aren't overclocked at all at the moment because it doesn't seem to like it much, but I'm not too bothered about that. However, I did have the BSoD flash at me before a crash the other day, and it seems very sluggish at the start up, more so than it was before. I've OC'd the CPU from 2200 to 2700, but I might knock it back to 2500 or something. I'm not overly fussed about squeezing every last bit of possible performance out of it all, I'd rather have something stable that works. In fact, with that OC it made no difference at all to my 3DMark06 score when I tried it last week, when compared with stock CPU speed. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is it just One Of Those Things?
