Not too much. Just a recap of the last 20mos in Lyrus' view. They are leaving to make more isk and not be the backbone of ISS.
*edit*
SUH gone now too. Why are people leaving? I thought people wanted less war.. now we got less war and people are still leaving..

i don't get it.

Someone please enlighten me..

Because people were hanging out until the end of the war before leaving is why. They are sick of constant empire wars, alliance politics, ISS getting bashed on the forums and in game. Add to that we've lost one of the best areas in the game, which was where Lyrus have been all year, and you can understand why they're taking a break. narf, I entirely sympathise with them and have been tempted to go the same why. Don't take it to heart, people come and go all the time. Oh and Praxis came within a hair's breadth of leaving too FYI.

Sorry- it's just my sense of loyality is all. Not to even insinuate that the one's who left aren't or wern't loyal, but I tend to stick to sinking ships and I can be blind to it sometimes.

I hope this new area works for us.

Meh, sorry for the downtrodden attitude, I just know thats another brick onto the back of 5punk with the other corps leaving.

Why? We're not taking over any major roles (Though I can see me goading alot of people into gangs when I'm on silver and then getting them killed in amusing ways 8) ), and imho the less corps about, the less competition for belts and rats. Downside is our potential fleet size shrinks, but I'm planing to get into BWF in the next few days and go nuts with tactical BMs.

EDIT: That said, as a corp I respect and like lyrus, and I'll miss seeing them about.

mmm, tactical bookmarks. I just know that those corps helped out alot and as one of the first comments to the post was 'Now that's a big hole to fill'. If I still had it i'd count the amount of alliance mails with "Another POS brought to you by LYRUS associates."

That's what I mean by another brick on our back. Friz and Fea get tapped a lot already and it trickles down to us be default. With the responsibilties left vacant, i'm sure we will help pick up the slack. IMO it's not a bad thing but it's still more work for us :p

So, do we get to control the station now that LYRUS bow'd out? A Gallente Phallic symbol would um, be 5punky! for sure...

Friz mentioned a few days ago that station management will most likely all to Ace and Parcan who have experience in such things. After that, I'd imagine it'd be a toss up between us and Prax

That is sad news indeed. ISS will need to fight to remain relevant with big players like Lyrus leaving.

If JL ever starts an alliance, I vote for joining it.

Meanwhile, I look forward to getting settled in in our new home!

ISS had a long way to go yet and Lyrus might yet come back. Meanwhile, I'm resisting heavily taking any more on board, although it looks like I might have to take up the slack on some Alliance diplomacy (this is by far the biggest hole James is leaving - he knew a lot of people). Thankfully Count is fairly active again at the moment. Ace and ParCan are going to do the station/regional coord thing and I'm going to concentrate mainly on the Industrial side - get a bit of intra-alliance cooperation going and build some big stuff!
