Spammer Of The Year Award
For me this has to be Berk, no question. He's a filthy posting whore, and always contributes to pretty much every post on 5punk, even if it is a Impact Kitten TM image when there is nothing left for him to say. On a sidenote I'd like to also thanks him for organising the Beef server with everyone
Most Potential As A Vampire Award
I tried my hardest to think of someone else, but without a doubt the only person I can think of here is HeHulk, with Friznit a possible second.
Pimp Of The Year
Quite hard to work out actually, as an awful lot of members have helped bring people to 5punk through referrals, but because of the large amount of 5punkers coming through Eve, I would have to go with CentredEdgeDesign. Now if only you could convince a few of them to post elsewhere on the site, that would be great
Nazi Of The Year
Lateralus, the 5punks grammar nazi of 2006. I'm amazed he hasn't picked up on my constant misuse of the ' symbol in almost every sentence though
Monkey-At-A-Keyboard Award
Well it was going to be Ty of course, then along came a fellow named Pete Armstrong, who has baffled me with various posts on god knows what. He seems like a very nice chap though, and has actively got involved with 5punk as a community, as well as the gaming side of things, so I think he should win an English Dictionary for this one.
Bastard Of The Year
Stoat, without question. Without him, 5punk would of been an idea in my head that I never would of been able to pull off. (Oooh that sounded a bit weird) The new look discussion board amongst other things this year has amazed me, and the fact this is all done in his spare time for free makes me appreciate it all the more. Stoat seems to do monkey coding hacks in about 30 seconds, whereas it would take me all week, and even then it wouldn't be as good.
Liver Of The Year
A close run thing here, but that Tesco vodka looked fucking disgusting, and it has to go to JockGit, who truly lived up to his name, and got himself into a drunken pirate state at the LAN.
The Sir Die Aloty Award for 5punker Of The Year
Dog Pants. One of the best things I have done here at 5punk is bringing someone like Dog Pants on board as a site moderator. It clearly needed it, as I am pretty shit at dealing with breaking up flame posts and board arguments. Not only that, Dog Pants has managed to bring something extra to 5punk that was missing, and is great at acting on his own accord and doing stuff like this post, or speaking up when he notices something isn't as it should be. He's also helped me out a lot with creation of images for the site, and I hope he sticks around forever and a day, because if I were to let go of 5punk, he'd be the man getting the keys
Special Mentions for some of those not on the list above :
Father Jack - For always posting useful and informative posts, and I think you'd all agree that this man has literacy skills far beyond our own, and his posts are always a joy (if somewhat very time consuming) to read.
Spoodie - Well, for just being Spoodie, and always adding an element of fun to everything, along with some very good postings in sticky situations which require a bit of tact.
ProfHawking - His dedication to hosting 2 LAN parties for 5punkers this year has amazed me, and allthough I haven't been able to make any of them, I'm sure everyone who has attended will thank you for this.
TezzRexx - Thanks to the ginger one for keeping up his Game postings in the Gaming Chat forum, it's probably a pain in the ass to remember to do, but I appreciate it.
Grimmie - For keeping us amused with Vladimir and Ural, and of course paper hats.
Bobbins and Roman - For making what is probably one of the funniest moments in 5punk history with RO-BO, and always without fail making my laugh my socks off.
Apologies if I haven't mentioned you in particular, there are just too many people to think of, and you've all helped make this site an enjoyable place to be and run, and without that, well, I wouldn't be doing it.
That's all for now, thanks 5punkers
