5punk CS:S Clan?
Ok, seeing as people seem to be finding their ways into friendly matches quite a bit recently, i figured we ought to bring this up again.
Personally, i don't give a flying fuck about a clan or anysuch, i play CS for fun these days.
Also, i figure there's a good few of you who might want a clan of sorts.
So, talk about it.

as far as roles/tactics go - highly unlikely it'd work due to the requirements of each level.
but, if you had a shit-hot sniper, you'd make sure he had a sniper rifle when appropriate.
The thing that's essential is communication really, you have to be able to get as much usuable information out in very little time, so voice comms would be a huge advantage for that.
if nothing else, i see it as a good way for people to learn to play a little more tactically, and have some internal games (on seperate TS channels etc)
ideally i'd like to avoid too much training of people, problem is if i train everyone, we'll all play in a similar style and die far more.

I like it too.Woo Elephant Yeah wrote:I like this idea!Grimmie wrote:Becomes to formal if we do that - Maybe a few should split off and make 5perm? (A clan based version of 5punk?)
Let me know if you're interested, and I'll host the site/forum for whoever wants to run it
for the record, I would like to be in, so I could be some kind of alternate or have the most inconsistent attendance record of any clan member.
I personally don't feel that 5punk should be a clan of any kind - I just think that whole clan mentality just isn't what 5punk is about.
While when we play games against each other, it's friendly and fun, but if you start playing matches against proper clans that don't buy into this "kickabout" mentality, then is that still in the spirit of 5punk?
I personally feel that clandom is not the way to go and would rather see the introduction of more scheduled "tactical" amongst 5punk members.
