Manual update is here, my work's firewall blocked the auto-updater:

Advanced shots
Tomahawk:
-Hold CTRL and press DOWN a few times to get backspin (or click bottom of ball icon with mouse) - the ball icon spins and you can let go.
-Push ALT (doesn't have to be held down), or use a red potion to get a power shot - the gauge turns red.
-Hit SPACE to start the shot, then SPACE again at desired power/distance level as normal.
-When the gauge is just over HALF-WAY BACK press UP, then DOWN. (you have to be quite quick, but make sure they're separate presses)
-Push SPACE right on the white line a-la Pangya. (If you miss the Pangya, it just performs a power shot with backspin [ie: high trajectory].) The difficulty is that's it's easy to miss the pink region altogether - never mind the white line - resulting in a complete miss.
Cobra Shot (which I haven't pulled off yet) is the same, except you need to do CTRL+UP to get topspin, and when the gauge is half-way back press RIGHT, then UP.
Using a potion to slow down the gauge might help. The UP, DOWN etc icons appear above the gauge, so if you miss them, DON'T press SPACE and just try again. If you get the crossed-out red circle it means you pressed too close together, or at the same time.
The Tomahawk is a high (ie: wind-affected) shot which stops where it lands without rolling at all. The risk of missing it is that you typically use extra distance to compensate for the lack of roll, so will likely hit long.
The Cobra Shot stays very low until the last bit of its flight - so mitigates any nasty wind effects or can perhaps go under obstacles. The risk of missing it is that the wind will affect your ball more than you planned, or it will not go under the obstacle.
Neither are as risky as a banana shot (power curve) that is designed to go around an obstacle you'd hit if you went straight, so they're worth a practice attempt whenever you get red in the power shot gauge next to your name.

Wahooo, do you have to be a certain level to set one up?
I'm guessing Grimmie is the highest ranked player, so maybe he could do it if that's the case.
Haven;t played any games for a few weeks now, and I'm beginning to get the shakes, so I can't wait to get back into this again as a build up to full throttle Beef Rage

You need to be at least Beginner E and have 10,000 Pang, which they take from the leader's account. I'm at Rookie A and about halfway to the next level, but I have no money, partly because of that blasted Papel shop. You need a logo, a name and an ID which has to contain only letters. None of them can be rude and you need 8 members for approval.

I don't know of any way to transfer monies to other players, only cookies.Grimmie wrote:I'm sure we can muster 8 people - And that would only be a donation of 1250 pang each - which seems easy enough.
Unless we held a battle tournament and fixed the results...
