Powderfinger

Post by Woo Elephant Yeah »

Does anyone have any useful info on this band? I :sweep: it a while back after a random post somewhere on this forum, and I have been listening to the Odyssey Number Five album.

It's not blowing my mind, but the more I listen to the album, the more I like it, and I wondered if anyone here could recommend some more albums from them.

AllMusic is your friend!

I'm not super impressed with them either.

Oooo, I missed this thread. I really like powderfinger, but have found all their albums to be growers. Odyssey Number 5 is my favourite, but Vulture Street is good. The only other one I have is Parables for Wooden Ears - their first I think. Its a bit rougher around the edges, but still good. I'd suggest Vulture Street as a possible sweeping.

Vulture Street has also grown on me, so I have decided to :sweep: them all up and give them a listen :faint:
