Barges / Exhumers

Post by Dolly Parton »

Curiosity is getting to me and I need to ask this.

My alt can fly any mining barge/exhumer there is. He can use 3 - T2 mining crystals now and working on more everyday. He is all ready in spunkage and dolly has less than 8 hours left of CEO roles before coming over to spunk. (so if someone with that role will be on tonight around 0130-0230 time today to process my app really cool.) Does the corp (spunk) have a barge I can use till I get my new covetor. we old tdoe cats have a covetor bp and can make them just need to mine the ore. which I can do in a few hours easy. evemail me in game if u do and where it is.

Also I got another question. I see you guys use individual cans for stuff. We did that but only for valuable items that we ourselves wanted to keep, everything else went straight to the corp. so this gets me to my question:

1) where would i keep individual ore mined at? can is way to small, gmlh and outpost is too far from mining and storage not to mention risky

2) if no individual ore mined does it all go to the corp? if so then how is that one person compensated.

i had another question but i forgot it and going back and looking at what i wrote all ready I got enough here for now

5punk is a community that doesn't just involve EvE, the general forums at the top are for everything and the EvE and EvE 0.0 Operations forums at the bottom of the list are for EvE related issues.

And to answer your question Dolly, there is a covetor that is used by many in the corp, but I don't know it's current location.

Large Marge the Mining Barge currently rests in Passadiri's possession in Khank, fitted out for mining ore. We have a number of barges of different sizes in the ship array at POS 3 in W9 - feel free to use them as and when, they're for corp use (I'm working on putting some corp insured haulers in there too for all of us to use).

Any ore you mine for the corp you can stick straight into the Ore & Minerals section of the hangar. If it's for your own use, stick it into an unused section of the hangar but put a bookmark in there labelling it as your ore, otherwise I will assume it is the corp's! Check that you have the correct roles for accessing that part of the hangar though. (For most of you, the POS Stuff and Blueprints are the only restricted sections).

Other than ore, please don't use the hangar for general storage: there's not enough space and we end up muddling all our stuff up. There are several 'Random Loot' Cans anchored outside for you to dump you sucked up loot into and these periodically get hauled to Distillery for repro'ing or selling.

EDIT: also note that the Ammo section has various ammo for use by all of us for ratting, help yourselves (more is available in the oddly named cans about which there is a corpmail).

And he really doesn't want to do that, it takes him hours in make-up to get the green just right, and days to get it off again!

Heh, all we need is a T2 mining laser BPO and some T2 crystal BPO and we'd be set to take on Chongus in a covetor

Actually, I managed to get a battle Retriever fitted once, I reckon a couple of them could take Chongus' Sabre out, even easier in a battle Covetor.
