I climbed the waterfall and went back through the tunnel looking for the jungle trail. I ran out of APs on the same square as a pirate, so if it's any of you guys don't kill me please

Anyway, this should help you all out, especially if you follow the links to all the cave entrances.
It's very easy to get lost when going around the mountain, and I've retraced my instructions, and they really weren't that dificult to follow.

I got up and wandered off. I'm now on a mountain trail, but I'm on the west face and there's outsiders about eyeing me up
