If some of you guys were unable to get the Xfire user name you wanted, then don't panic, because once you have fired up Xfire and logged in, do the following:
Tools
Options
Click on the Display Tab
Tick the box Display nicknames when available
Type in whatever nickname you want, allthough it's preferable if it's the same user name that you use here to make things easier for everybody.
For example, my Xfire id is wooelephantyeah, but my nickname is Woo Elephant Yeah as it allows spaces in a nickname.
Another thing that's quite handy and is often overlooked is setting your own custom status.
Just click on the down arrow at the bottom of Xfire, and select Set Custom Status

There's also a number of multiplayer demo games on nzone, so visit the following link if you're interested http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_downloads_demos.html

New Xfire cross-game interface in latest release, which basically means you can chat in-game to others that aren't even playing the same game.
