Well after a 2 week delay my new GFX card and psu arived ready for collection. Took a couple of hours to sort out (bloody extra psu cables) but tis now alive and kicking.
Wait, you're spending "all teh cash" on fancy new graphics and stuff? but you've not even been tempted to swap away from default coolers for CPU? I think doing that stuff can cause all sort of great fun, especially when it gives you the chance to do some overclocking. Try getting a zalman, or is "all teh cash" gone now?
Ps. Lovely graphics card, want to get rid of the older one by any chance?
narf, the stock cooler is fine, even with low end overclocking.
also, given the upgrade route he's taking (graphics/psu now, cpu/ram/mobo later) it would be pretty pointless to replace the cooler (given the upgrade could go am2 or conroe)
