I guess they've worked out how to make bootable PS2 discs, sounds interesting. That was the same method as the Dreamcast hack, them were the days.

that method has been about since forever or so.

dunno how well it works, i suspect it's 50/50 ish

Swap Magic 3 MUST be used with easy no-soldier mod-chip -OR- Slide Tool / Flip Top Cover.

This method has been around for donkeys, it's a bity shit narf, even with the proper slide tool, it's a pain in the ass to do.
Basically just get a modded one if that's what you are into.

i suspect you'll have great difficulty getting a modded ps2, and the modding involved (depending on the version of the ps2) can be hell.

I've got a SlimLine PS2, I just thought I'd give it a try, with the games I would never consider paying any money for.

I bought (possibly a previous version of) this with a slide tool a while ago, as well the the HD loader. Never got HD loader working, and haven't got any ripped off games to try with it. Can't recall what I was thinking of doing with it exactly.
