pfft, i think part of the problem is that the main HDR map we play is militia, which (with HDR) biases the map even more to the terrorist team, given as a CT your lighting is fucked in and around the tunnel.spoodie wrote:My lack of WIN and AIM already puts me at a disadvantage, some shinier graphics isn't going to make much of a difference.
Although I do appreciate it makes enemies harder to spot in certain circumstances.

Perhaps I get too much into it, but when blinded by HDR I have been observed blinking and holding my hand up to shield my eyes.
Also I'm told, I physically duck down when behind crates, and shake my head to "clear my ears" when experiencing the bombshell sound effects in CoD.
None of these action are particularly helpful in multiplayer, but do demonstrate how immersive I find the games sometimes.
