Ridge Racer Unbounded, currently £2.71. Don't know if it's open world like Bumout but it certainly looks to have 5punky potential

Having played a handful of single player minutes, it certainly shows promise. Worth the £2.71.

Will write more when I've played more and got the hang of the controls a bit more

It certainly has the 'everything breaks' mentality which is nice

Still strugling to get to grips with this. Very pretty game, and moves along at a rapid rate. ISTR ridgeracer was a lot more tail happy than this, and i can't find how to adjust the sensitivity for my gamepad.

Also its taken me like 20 attempts so far, and i still cant get into the top 3 for the first race :(

Looking good so far though. and nitrous assisted road bumming of 5punkers will always be popular, i think!

Managed to get 2nd in the first set of races. The Behemoth (artic truck without trailer, smash up the cop cars) race is amusing, but too short. The stunt tracks look fun though (looks like a trackmania wannabe, or stunt car racer if you're old like me). just needs a proper 5punky multiplay attempt to se if its worht it

Stunt tracks? That's more interesting. I wasn't sold on the trailer, but bangy 5punky stunt racing could be fun.

Its also got a track editor, so you can make your own tribute to the nurburgring, and make everyone drive down it!

Good news is that you only need to bee an experienced network admin to get it to connect and Berk and I managed to complete 1 race out of 3 (with both of us making it to the finish without someone disconnecting)
