This week in playdate I have been learning that there's a decent percentage of generally competent, friendly players, which is nice.

Ended up on a few occasions running stealth missions and being carried along as the idiot who can't stealth, but brings a saw and doesn't fuck up.

Has been quite profitable and decent for learning how to stealth a bit.

Also, big bank is fucking nails, but massively rewarding when you get it right.

And the FAL is quite a tidy weapon, a lot like the scar, only with more old school cool.

Yay, now I can fail by being the fifth person that wants to play instead.

That page is updated, it looks most pleasing.

MOTHERFUCKING PRIMATE MASKS.

So yeah, I'm thinking that they might as well make payday free to play, and just rely on a DLC based subscription model.

Incidentally, I am overkill's bitch.

Strange things are happening, we're getting less awful.

Yesterday, shit didn't go wrong on day 2 of rats (that is to say, there was no shooting of the gang, though in hindsight we should have robbed them on the way out).

Today we stealthed diamond heist, on overkill, with no shit going wrong at all. made it out with all the loot bags, 4 body bags and tried to take a couple of the more attractive hostages home.

Anham and I were racing them to the van. He cheated by sitting mine down so I shot his just before she was at the van

 all told, a perfect stealth job, I imagine coming across the crimescene the police would assume it was an argument over a cafe bill that descended into a hooker streetfight and a bit of diamond store looting.

This week Wifey and I have been experimenting with stealthing, it's actually quite pleasing, and not terribly hard.

Quite nice if you don't have a full team, as you can still complete jobs without much difficulty, even if you do end up spending 20 minutes picking open 120 deposit boxes

There was a hoxhud update yesterday, added some nifty stuff;

The ! Over civvies is now coloured depending on state, orange for alerted, green for controlled, nothing once they're cuffed.

Lock picking and pager answering doesn't need you to hold f, instead having press g to cancel.

Bags tell you their value when you pick them up.

Gun lasers are a fuckload brighter.

Finally did it! Made it to lvl 100 today, and almost instantly infamy'd.

Pros: Nifty Sunglasses!

Cons: No skills anymore, and i'm too low level to use all my guns :(

(on the upside i've got like 9 thanatos sniperrifles i can sell now!)

I wanna get to infamy too but I just... don't know why. You gain XP 5% faster when you're infamous, but you lose all your XP to get it, so really it only helps you get to the next stage of infamy and the next and the next and...

oh it's the standard prestige model of course. yeah i'm gonna do it.
