Not a problem, I can be at New Street for 13:20. Anyone else need a lift from there?FatherJack wrote:I'm picking up Mr J and Tandino from Birmingham International at about 1.30 so won't be able to get there as well, hopefully Wiggy's arriving around that time though.Shada wrote:I'll be getting off the megabus at hill street/new street tomorrow at 1:20pm. Can I trouble someone to pick me up from new street station?

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH
The Joosingtons are turning up tonight after all! I don't know when exactly we will get there though, it all depends on what time Mrs Joose can get away from work. Any idea what time you are thinking of heading foodwards?

Not entirely sure, but can send you a googly maps route to walk along if we're out when you park up. Is usually around seven or eight though. Phone me if you want!

Dunno. We're doing breakfast at some time prior to 11am tomorrow, then heading to the castle. Fallenblade and Sioned are meeting us there too, and I'm just going to call them when we're heading out, so if you want to PM me your phone number I'll give you a call too.

Re: Brum Bash IX (for reals)
Excellent bash as always. Thanks to everyone that came, helped ferry people around, met up with us at Warwick castle and put in to cover some of the bashy expenses. Big thanks to Emerald who catered for us on several occasions!
Hopefully our resident photojournalist Tandino will be along shortly to provide some snapshots of the weekend.
Hope everyone that came had a good time, and here's looking forward to Brum Bash X!

Meeting up with fellow 5punkers at the Castle was aces. Muchos thanks to Grimmie and Em for organising it.

Re: Brum Bash IX (for reals)
Great bashings! Some of it I can't remember and some bits seem too ludicrous to be anything other than some sort of fevered dream - 5punkers in a castle with a condor in low gravity? I must have had some sort of fit.
Thanks to organisers and attendees - great to meet new people and old, thanks to drivers and people who did things during the bits I don't remember because I don't remember if I thanked them then, to Grim of course and Em for doing quite literally all of the things, good luck with the interview!

Re: Brum Bash IX (for reals)
Warwick castle was great, but introducing thirteen 5punkers to an audience-participation crowd was a recipe for success.

Re: Brum Bash IX (for reals)
Very late reply due to only now being back at my PC, but great bash was great and I'm filled with great sorrow now that it is over and I'm back at my boring house living my boring life.
It was great seeing all the familiar faces again and meeting a bunch of new people like Mrs. Joose, Buzz and those two others whose name I forgot (sorry). We never really got to talk because I was being distracted by runaway condors, an oddly tan archer and a ridiculously large trebuchet but I'm confident you're all as excellent as your forum selves. Another great thanks for Wiggy and his beers and Em for all her delightful cooking. I want you to know I declined those bacon bagels out of genuine non-hunger because I'm regretting it now...
I look forward to seeing you all again hopefully sometime soon because the older I get the more I seem to need these bashes. Thanks everyone!

Re: Brum Bash IX (for reals)
After escaping to a wedding for a weekend, then going to the Royal International Air Tattoo then going to Italy with Mrs Tandini, I've finally got around to putting bash pictures up on BeanFlickr. You might need to add me as a friend to see them as I have Internet paranoia at the moment. They are here - https://www.flickr.com/photos/tandino/s ... 948656436/ and I'll likely be adding a few more as the week progresses.
