Over two years and counting, a few more months to go. But this looks great and I love the trailer + music.

Yup, that looks good. I do hope it returns to something more like the first one in terms of its ability to turn shit upside down. At the very least I would like a coherent story, because bioshock 2 was just shit.

I think I might like this. But then I said that about the previous bioshocks and never finished them.

Music is Nico Vega - Beast

Has anybody heard any reports about this yet? Its pre-orderable on steam but I'm having doubts after pre-ordering Aliens and it being shit.

I was going to hold off on preordering what with me not finishing either of the bioshocks and all, but if enough preorders are placed on steam you get xcom: enemy unknown for free, which is a game I wanted to buy and that people seemed to like. So far they haven't got enough yet, but I'm very tempted by this offer.

I concur, if they get up to the third reward tier, I might plump for it as you'll be getting two games for the price of one really.

I truly hope it's a good game though, just have to wait and see.

Gamefly are selling Bioshock Infinite, plus Bioshock 1 and 2 for less than £30, if anyone hasn't got the others.

Ive never understood preorder bonuses like that. Surely the majority of the people who are excited enough to pre-order are doing so because they have played one or both of the other games. So why would they want to buy it again?

Aliens Colon Marines has done for the game industry what horse meat has for the processed meat industry. Watching them sit there and lie their faces off in the prerelease demo has destroyed a lot of trust in the industry and as a result I regard preorders and seemingly-generous preorder bonuses with more than my usual measure of suspicion.

The video's are having the desired result of making me rather interested.

I wasn't sure about xcom when it arrived, but if this hits tier 3 I'll buy it because it seems to be two good games for the price of one.

I have to say 2k seem to publish games with awesome music, whether it's them or that the studio's they publish they seem to (in the words of Westwood) drop heavy hit, after heavy hit. I thought the vocals were from the yeah yeah yeah's singer and found the tune damned catchy, hand claps are a good thing.

I nearly pre-ordered just to have a copy of xcom to give to someone, because it's a great game. I really doubt Infinite will be a stinker given its pedigree, but I've never had a huge amount of interest in it, being a AAA shooter designed in part for consoles. So I didn't. I did enjoy Dishonored though, so I might pick it up in the inevitable Steam sale. Mind you, I've barely played Dishonored.

Although I have played the first Bioshock and really enjoyed it from what I remember, I can't find my copy anywhere and I don't have it on steam. So I crumbled and Pre-ordered it, getting 2 possibly 3 games for the price of one was too much of a good deal for me to pass up.

I think they have already passed the point where free copies of XCOM will be given out, if I remember correctly when XCOM was released they didn't hand out the copies of Civ V until release day.

Time of writing they're apparently at 44% of reward 2 which is the TF2 stuff. Once it hits 100% it's unlocked and then the count begins on level 3 which is the getting a free copy of Xcom.
