TMA: PHPBB3 Honeypots

If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

TMA: PHPBB3 Honeypots

Post by friznit »

Take your average phpbb3 forum, add an army of spammers (about 30 a day) and come up with ideas to prevent the fuckers. I've currently resorted to admin approved sign ups and Bot Buster, which is a simple db lookup but doesn't seem to catch very many. Something appears to be broken though, because every once in a while it throws up errors when normal people try to register.

Can you recommend any anti bot mods or honeypots that work?
