Arcade Suggestion: Euchre

Post by Nickface »

If it's possible to get the card game euchre game added to the arcade, I would be a happy as a clam. If this isn't possible, that's okay too. I just wanted to get a request out there :likesitall:

If you "aquire" a swf for me, then I could have a go at modifying it to submit scores in the Arcade.

I have no idea how to do this, but I might ask Stuk as he's recently done one of his own

Not sure how much you know about flash.. but in my little experience.. the swf is like a read only version of the file. The "Fla" file is what you use to create it etc.. I think you'd need to acquire the ".fla" file.. which is generally larger.. Someone may know better than me.. But I think its only a one-way conversion from fla->swf..

generally, you can decompile swfs, but as with all things, it'll probably be a bit messy.

SWFs are compiled, but there are some decompilers out there, which I saw when working out how to make the snow game arcade-able. I even found instructions on how to take an existing game and arcade-ify it....which I have now lost. SWF decompiler was recomended, but its payware *gasp*

edit: Instructions found! http://www.phpbb-amod.co.uk/kb.php?mode=article&k=34

Hope this helps guys
