I've had lots of drunken fun with tanks at it's peak we've had enough for almost four platoons.
DoW 2 last stand has also sucked up a few hours with some rather hilarious physics problems and adaptive tictacs.

Even though I don't play it, I would have thought that Minecraft blew away all competition.

I agree with Minecraft.
Possibly Bacons as well due to the fact we were all playing it quite a lot earlier on in the year.

Minecraft, easily. I loved BACON too but in the end it's not as original as minecraft.
