the idea was good, execution was ok. i didnt find it particuarly hard, and certainly not difficult to learn. i think after the tutorial there where a couple of harder mission mixed in with easier ones but if you couldnt do them you just went back with better heroes later (as you pick a hero at the end of missions that you can keep as a permenant hero to use in any game for however much gold depending on their level)
it was fairly silly and i found it a good way to amuse myself for an hour or two at a time

Actually, quite hard.
The tutorial was easy enough, but I struggled with the very first mission - protecting the caravan was a nightmare and I had to build towers all along the path just to distract the monsters long enough for it to get through.
The second mission (choosing the easier of two marked 'novice' and 'advanced') ramps up the difficulty way too high. I'm immediately beset on all sides with not enough money to build a sustainable defense, let alone explore, which just brings more enemies.
