Lord of Ultima is the latest in the current spate of social games, call it an MMORTS of sorts, think of it like farmville crossed with Settlers crossed with Mafia Wars. players are given a city in a region populated by others and a week in which to build an army (the latter half of the week spent waiting for things to finish building) before players can attack.
Theres a lot of depth in LOU, building positioning, upgrades and surrounding all affect production rates so season strategy fans should find something here. anyway the point is i had a fun half hour going through the tutorial and i'm waiting for my town hall to upgrade in a few minutes so i thought id try to enlist you guys, we can even form an alliance.

Sounds like Travian. We've been fairly lacking in web-based games lately, although I didn't like Travian or... what was the other one like that? Where we all got banned for mentioning willies or something.
