Risky stuff.

Post by Joose »

Now I seem to have succeded in getting WC3 accepted, its time for me to champion something new. Though this might be a harder sell.

Me and Jinxx play Magic: the Gathering Online. Tis good stuff.

Be warned, it is essentially identical to the card game. But as long as you dont go mad with booster packs, its cheap as chips (hell, theres a fairly good free version). Its very thinky. And it is slow paced, runs in a window and doesnt require fancy graphical abilities, meaning that when I (eventually) get back to EVE again, I can play it while mining/hauling :)

Only trouble is, at the moment Jinxx is the only person I know with it. I need more people to beat senseless!

And yes, yes, its a terribly geeky game.

Yes, you also require a beard. It doesn't have to be your own beard, but it certainly helps if it is.

What about a bearded clam?

I'd play, but I'm a total cheapwad, so clearly any amount of money is too much for me. :ignore:

How about $0, mr Nick of Face? The trial version has no time limit and enables you to play with premade decks. A little limited, but still fun.

not really, no. No more than CoD is "toy soldiers online". Possibly less than.

oh, I wasn't suggesting Magic TG was like Top Trumps, it's obviously much more complicated. I was suggesting Top Trumps is more in my league
