3.3 Patch notes.
Usual dealy, CBA to sleep, so reading patch notes, interesting stuff below.
Meeting Stones: To use any Meeting Stone, it is only required that the character's minimum level be 15. There is no maximum character level requirement for any Meeting Stone.
Battlegrounds: All level 71-80 Battleground daily quests will now award 25 Arena points in addition to their current rewards.
Oculus:
* Azure Ring Guardians agro distance changed from 50 to 40 yards.
* Many bosses and creatures have had their total health reduced.
* Several bosses and creatures have had cooldowns on specific abilities increased, effect durations reduced, and damage on some of these abilities reduced.
* Ring-Lord Conjurers and Sorceresses now hang out in packs of 4 instead of packs of 5.
* Vehicle scaling on the drakes based on the rider's item level has been increased to make them more powerful.
Dungeon Finder:
* This feature has replaced the Looking For Group tool and provides all-new dungeon party creation functionality.
Players can join as individuals, as a full group, or a partial group to look for additional party members.
Players can choose the Random Dungeon option.
* The Heroic Wrath of the Lich King Daily Random Dungeon option will award two Emblems of Frost no more than once a day.
* The normal Wrath of the Lich King Daily Random Dungeon option will award two Emblems of Triumph no more than once a day.
* Continuing to complete Wrath of the Lich King Heroic instances using the Daily Random Dungeon option will award players two additional Emblems of Triumph each time.
Pick-Up Groups:
As part of the matchmaking system, some of the more difficult dungeons will have a minimum gear requirement.
Players who take part in groups who have one or more members who have been matched with them randomly from within the Dungeon Finder will receive extra rewards, up to and including the coveted Perky Pug non-combat pet. The more random players with whom one groups, the faster the pet can be obtained.

I have a reason to PvP again! I dislike arena because it is full of 'L337 Uber Gladiator, OMG Y U NOT HEAL DRUID, WTF' but the best weapons are only available through arena points.Dr. Kitteny berk wrote:Battlegrounds: All level 71-80 Battleground daily quests will now award 25 Arena points in addition to their current rewards.
Meh, only interest is the HC Daily random dungeon, im guessing that this will be most peoples only interest. Will be interesting when CatJism finally arrives.Dr. Kitteny berk wrote:Dungeon Finder:

droods op lol
Some moderately interesting stuff in there, like DK tank threat buffage, which is very welcome as that's my only weak point at the moment (because I refuse to blood tank)
AOTD cooldown is welcome too for fail dungeons.
I like the dungeonator, as quite often 5punk runs are just missing 1 person, and pugging someone competent can be difficult.

Having had played with the dungeonator, I declare it win.Dr. kitteny berk wrote:I like the dungeonator, as quite often 5punk runs are just missing 1 person, and pugging someone competent can be difficult.
As fast as putting a heroic together, seems to group you to people around your gear level, so all in, ver good.
I imagine that if I was randomly grouped with people the same gear level as me, we'd all be clueless and would fail horribly. That said, I'd only ever group with randoms as a last resort, and if there aren't at least a couple of 5punkers on to group with, I'd far rather level a different character anyway. The way I see it, once you hit 80 you've completed the game, and the rest is just frills.
I used to think that, but it is where a whole different game really begins. Naxx, Ulduar, TOTC. Its all about the gear and the teamwork and making bigger and bigger things dead. Can't level any more so level your gear. Next stop, bumming Arthas.Lateralus wrote:The way I see it, once you hit 80 you've completed the game, and the rest is just frills.

Okay, I officially love the dungeonator, Been using it most of the day with friends of 5punk to fill our team. basically no effort, much easier to run a team than the normal way (as all the replacing people etc is automated) gear levels are matched to group and instance.
End result for me today is something like

Dungeonator very good, I have been playing my lowbie alts and it is like playing back in the day of vanilla wow - in and out of instances constantly, makes levelling a whole lot eaiser and the quest zones are practically empty so no waiting for mobs to spawn when not in a dungeon
On the bad side, some people seem to take it as a license to ninja, not so much at the higher levels but certainly around the 20 - 30 level.
What can be quite funny is the amount of people who have never done these dungeons before. With Bumming Crusade and Itchy Ring less and less people were doing low level instances, now it is easy to get a group you quite often find people who have never had the chance to do them and don't know what to do. Luckiliy I do!
First weekly raid quest went down quite easiliy with a pug - patchwerk - hopefully they won't get much more complicated. Don't fancy four horsemen with a pug.

This, we even managed an impromptu 5punk and chums raid with a few pugged, no problem at all.Anery wrote:First weekly raid quest went down quite easiliy with a pug - patchwerk
I'm slowly starting to hate the dungeonator though, it seems to really, really like gundrak.
Also, idiots in a hurry. They join a team as dps or healer, then start to pull stuff and complain about my doing small pulls. (which I often do because I don't know the fucking healers) I wouldn't mind so much, but it's usually a team with 2 other people from my server, and 2 pugged. Retards.
Made a healer tank gundrak yesterday though, that was fun.
