This game is nearly two years old, but I only discovered it the other day. I watched a couple of videos and just tried it myself. It's the kind of game they could have in the break room at Guantanamo Bay.
Another "good one" is Syobon Action. There's a link to the official site on that page but I can't get the web-embedded or downloaded versions to run on this machine.
It's a Mario clone which punishes you for knowing Mario conventions.

I tried to pick a video that had the least irritating voice. His accent amused me, at least more so than squeeky Americans saying "God damn!" constantly.
That's far more annoying, some pre-pubescent yank squealing over everything. Or like the 'whooping prick' of the starcraft 2 level editor video, there's just no need. I watched this for a while and if I do try it I'm glad I've forgotten a lot of the ingrained mario play techniques because it would boil my piss.
I think wiggy should try this, his mario skills are pretty impressive.

Mario skills might be more of a hindrance.
I've tried it now and very nearly completed the first level before I had to quit out of frustration. It's a lot easier than I Wanna Be The Guy but still quite evil.
