As per the title, 'tis closings.

A bit more info on the official forums, but bascially Simon's wife said to the IRC lot it was closing. To be expected really seeing as they had a sprog this year.

I felt this was worth a mention, I think I'm the only one who goes and has a dabble occasionally though.

Meh.

I'd be annoyed if it was closing and it was still good, but the zerging, metagaming and general dickishness of people like daves ruined it. Maybe it'll be back someday and they'll make it not shit again.

*editz* Of course we were dicks as well, but not in a way that directly negatively impacted on other peoples games (mostly) but his need to try and wipe 5punk away wasn't funny (except the way I wrote it there). Then he got made a mod didn't he? Nice one.

Shame it's closing down, shame it got fucked up before that.

By the end there were much worse people than Daves in the game. In a way I actually enjoyed our run ins with him.

The last year of Shartak was dominated by zerging and general cuntish behaviour, so in that respect I'm not sad to see it go. Still, we had some good times on there .
