Global Agenda

Post by Dog Pants »

Global Agenda is a forthcoming MMO who are currently issuing closed beta invitations. Bali successfully acquired invitation codes*, and Pete petitioned the developers for a guild invite for all of 5punk.
The fact that Pete recieved a reply giving us a private guild invite code stands this head and shoulders above other games. We have the opportunity to influence the development of an MMO for the better, should they take us up on our offer.

To Hi-Rez Studios, should they encounter this thread**, we offer a unique player base of mature individuals with a playful and light-hearted sense of humour, combined with, in many cases, veteran gaming experience, professionalism, and a rational sense of constructive criticism. A rare thing on modern forums, but something I will personally assure.

To 5punkers, should Hi-Rez Studios pick us up, I request that we play this game as we have others that have brought us together en masse. Constructively find fault, offer suggestions, and take rebuffals with good grace. Offer an appropriate and constructive player base for the game's developers and, should we be noticed, feel secure in the knowledge that we have had a small part in creating a successful game.

*Presumably no assurance that recipients will be invited.
**Not as unlikely as many would assume.

Having had been involved with the conversation resulting in this thread, I agree wholly. I think.

Having accepted 5punk as a name they're either not familiar with slang or just a bit more tolerant than others.

And yeah, should they accept us, we will professionally evaluate the game. Especially the parts which are hilariously not working as intended.

It sounds good to me, and good of the devs to look at the request.

Intentional or not, I like the use of the non-word "rebuffals" in the first post of a thread about an MMO. MORE DOTS!

Is that a non-word? I did wonder at the time, but I was completely hammered when I wrote it.

I assume you meant "rebuttal", but as I said, it's better with the word "buff" in it. :)
