Don't get me wrong, it's good, but it's pretty odd to see it going from one extreme (as in a plot more complicated than Lost with serious business written all over it) to the other (as in Bryan Fuller probably wrote this episode after eating 1/2 kilograms of high quality cannabis). Coming to think of it, this is the second episode written by Fuller so far? (the other one being Company Man, which was, far as I remember pretty good as well) I approve of keeping him around in the crew.
I wasn't too keen on this episode - didn't really seem to go anywhere. There were a few times when I was gesturing at the screen urging them to get a move on. Also, has Hiro pissed the writers off or something? He's hardly in it these days.
I was hoping they'd kill off at least a few of the shittier actors' characters... In fact, kill off everyone except Claire (well, they could "kill" a few clothes off her) and start over but with a less serious plotline and you could have a great series here.
Well Bryan Fuller restored some hope for me when I was about to quit, those two episodes were pretty good, but unless they come up with something VERY good for volume 5, I'm going to drop it.
Well frankly it's been pretty much on par since then, depending on where you pull the line for its quality Heroes is either all shit or all good.
Meanwhile, House is getting pretty fucking awesome, and I don't mean it was shit before, I mean once an excellent episode comes out, a much better one comes next week.
