Create a band, manage band, make money, make band better, chart domination...I think... Anyone else ever dabbled with this? seems ok for a waste of work time.

Good call, worth a shot. Signed up as Zank Frappa. Hopefully it's as puerile as Rock Star Ate My Hamster. If I get to name my bad it shall be Terminal Flatulence in honour of the classic.

EDIT: Yay! Terminal Flatulance created.

As a note, it updates at 3:15 (GMT) in the morning.

That's a realtime day to us, or an ingame week.

Shame we can't have a mini-league. I don't really give a shit how I'm doing against the thousands of randoms out there.

Well, we can at least keep track.

Just add each other to our address books in the manager options, then you can view the charts (on the right), look at the manager charts, and set it to look at only people in the address book.

This should be amusing though, Anery and Fabbles both have bands with very expensive people in, while everyone else has gone for cheapo people.

Be interesting to see what happens.

I have one with expensive people, and one with very cheap people in (a kind of Orbital dance duo thing I think)

Second band go! Brazerker, extreeeeeme metal band ruuur!

I've bought fairly cheap guys who all top at at around 85%+ on their primary skills.

Try this out - jump to page five of available band members when you make a new one, look for one who's skill is very high. It worked for all of my picks, could just be randomised or luck or whatever, but it might get us a 5punk top ten chart. :ahoy:
