basically my reasoning is: funky awesome new technology > boring clock speed increase

Sorry guys, but it is a plain fact that FX57's at the moment give better performance in Games.. But yes, I didn't think before I typed..? I mean who does? :).. So yeah. Dual core is probably the way to go for the future and stuff.

Like I said before, performance is not going to be an issue.

narf, SLi is a waste of time. I hooked up my mates 7800GTX with mine and CS Source ran 5/6 fps faster than normal. My CPU probley limits it a bit but still, SLi is a rip off.

Double the price for a bit better fps and bragging rights :)
