People who are most likely to play this are people who didn't play the proper game in the first place and will be playing to get a taste/see if it's worth buying.
Buttttt if it's missing features, surely it will be a very shitty version of the game, hence people might be put off?
I think it's more done for the modding community and stuff, it's a build from 2004, before a lot of stuff and a few areas were cut, so it'll be interesting to play with.
I suspect anyone who ever wanted to play stalker has by now, given it's a 2 year old game.
Given it didn't work very well on release, I think I'll be avoiding this. I'm not that curious about what was dropped and I expect ther'll be some pictures posted somewhere.
It's for modders, if you read their forums you can tweak it heavily just to get it to look half decent and run a bit better.
However, Oblivion Lost team are going to scavenge what they can to include in their uber mod, so this is a good thing, as once they finish that mod, it'll pretty much be a different game.
