Sony and Media Molecule won't be happy this Christmas, with LittleBigPlanet not selling well in either the US or UK apparently.

This is a bit of a shame. It's a good game that's well worth playing, especially with the quality of some of the user created content I've seen. However, some of it is shit.

AINT GOT NO SHOOTAN OR FIGHTAN!

I don't think it appeals to the midset of most ps3 owners. I think a lot of people who got a ps3 got one for the sport and fps stuff, this game feels like it would be more at home on a wii, even though it probably needs a ps3 for it's physics/shineh stuff.

Indeed. The reaction of the people on Bit-tech is kind of annoying, they're obviously idiots. Why do we have this feed?

It probably would be better suited for the Wii market, but like you say the machine (and the network for that matter) would just not be up to it. It'd lose a lot of the depth.

This is a huge shame because it's one of the best games I've played in years. Very 5punky, too.

It's a great game, but it's not Madden #392 or Halo 7 so of course the typical console market isn't all that interested

LBP annoys me, I'd quite willingly buy an xbox 360 for it, but I can't/won't stretch to a PS3 for it, because I don't get on with the controllers, and beyond LBP, I have no interest in the console.

Also suffers from being well outside the realm of most console titles, so has minimal appeal to a great deal of consoletards.

1) buy a PS3 with LBP.

2) play LBP untill it becomes boring.

3) give said PS3 to me

4) profit!

I wonder how well a PC conversion would do? Low (or at least, percieved that way) sales would suggest we'll never know.
