blue shift was such rubbish.
I bought it when it came out, finished it within 5 hours, took it back to the shop the next day claiming it "didnt work". bought something else.

hahaha, I bought a copy for $6, mostly because Blue Shift CD-Keys are recognized as regular Half-Life CD-Keys by Steam.

Lesson? You can buy the entire Half-Life 1 catalog for $5 if you do a little shopping.

and yes, the game is pretty pants. That "High Definition Pack" just makes everything shitty.

Never had Blue Shift (so quite looking forward to playing it..) HL and Opposing horse were both awesome though.

Ha ha, I did that with Metal Gear Solid 2 for PS2, after a couple of hours playing realised it was shit, finished it in 2 days, took it back. pwned HMV.

I bought them all at full whack as they came out, even CZ over Steam, except BS, so this is the first time my HL2 Silver purchase is actually giving me something (over Bronze) that I hadn't already paid for.

I have played about half of it though on a mate's PC until it crashed.

I thought both HL1 expansions where pretty good at the time, it was nice to get back into the HL universe at least.

Seems I'd played through 90% of it. That was rather quick. Didn't cheat either.

(Edit: 2 hours, according to Xfire.)
