The Witcher Done Good?
The Witcher Done Good?
You probably spotted this from last week, but I wanted to reprise the story to lead into some other thoughts about The Witcher. Polish fantasy RPG The Witcher has sold 1 million copies. That's a fair amount for a game on any format. Developers CD Projekt are rightly pleased with this, and I'm glad that [...]

Never got the hang of the timing with the clicks, had the same trouble with WAR.
It was neither immediate visceral controls like an FPS, nor issuing queuing commands remotely to your minion like an RTS. It was like operating a puppet where the same strings would not work again for an abitrary time after you had plucked them but you couldn't scry closely enough to determine when this "repeated-use" time lapse had expired.
