DNS Servers
Anyone got any good ones they use? The ones pre-programmed into my router appear to have fallen over, and I can't look any more up because I can't resolve DNS
4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2
Edit:
I've just seen bumzomg's post.
Friends don't let friends use OpenDNS. It is a non-compliant hideous monstrosity that I wouldn't even call a dns server. If it can't resolve something, it sends you to a page full of adverts.
You don't actually need to use 3rd party dns servers, there is nothing stopping you running your own recursive dns server using the root servers for lookups. It's the safest way to insure nobody gets the chance to poison your dns. (In unix "apt-get install unbound")
Do you want to trust some American firm making money from peddling ads with a pretty crucial portion of your internet browsing security?
