This latest transmission from developers Treyarch shows off the flamethrowers, the bombs, the tanks, and the destructible scenery. And there's quite a lot of all of those things. It's all in-engine, but only a teensy bit appears to be "in-game", if you see what I mean. Mmm, perhaps we shouldn't start the day's posting with explosions, it can only be downhill from there.

Chirchill Crocodile? That's the only flame tank I can think of off the top of my head. I'm not sure if the Crocodile was one of Hobart's Funnies, but I hope they're in it too.

So it was. I was right about the Crocodile being a funny though. I remember reading about the AVRE (Armoured Vehicle Royal Engineers, another funny) once. It has a massive mortar as its main gun that fired rounds nicknamed 'flying dustbins'. A German officer who faced them (or possibly an American variant) on the Hindenburg Line later said they should have been banned under the Geneva Convention as they were being used point blank on German pillboxes, generally turning the occupants to jam.

I've loads of stories about bizarre tank related happenings during the war. I must be an old bloke reborn.
