If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

Run lepoard on your PC

Interesting, very interesting..

I grabbed all the updates straight from Apple—including 10.5.5 last night, so you don't have to wait for a hacked patch like you would running a typical Hackintosh—installed a whole bunch of software and have been using it for several days. It runs beautifully, just like a real Mac Pro.

I've seen stuff about this floating around for a few days now.

From what I've heard, it's not always that great, hardware issues are often present, even with stuff that should work.

However, if you want OSX the easy way, and can get one of these before apple rape them to death, it might be worth a shot.

I like OSX, but I see this exercise as largely pointless, beyond nerd wank. You're losing one of the major advantages of using Mac/OSX when you lose the proprietary hardware platform that the OS is optimised for.

I can see this being worthwhile, if only to use Logic and final cut on a pc...

If they work, that is.
