And I see Xelots FUCKING EVERYWHERE. Today I encountered the Fifth Great and Bountiful Xelot Empire.

I'm seeing loads of 5punky monsters all over the planets as critters or tribes. Not so many in space but as was said above :above: ...

I also managed to pick up the Deja Vu award even though this is the first time I've played...

What happens if I delete a critter or design that's already been shared? Presumably it stays in your local game but doesn't appear again thereafter? I'm guessing they're not viral as that would eventually break the game (or it would eventually end up with a true survival of the fittest where only the best critters ever survive in everyone's games).

You will definitely do by the first Civilization or Space stage, as one of the wild animals on your planet will be you. (I have T2 mes running around on my home planet in both of my games)

I just got to the civ stage but cba to play anymore. It did well though I think I got about 8 hours out of the game in total.

Are you aware that you're missing literally half of the game? All the stages leading to space are just minigames in comparison.

You should at least push forward enough to see the space stage, I've spent more time arsing about in space than I did in the rest of the stages put together.

:above: :above: and :above: :above: :above:

The space stage, even if you push through as fast as you can still takes ages and is rather great. I like earning biggar weapons, so when I got a new toy I flew to the home planet of a particularly annoying empire and blew it up with a planet buster. The remaining planets surrendered to me and gave me loads of money.

An ally of mine was disgusted however and declared war, so I killed both empires and took all their planets. :)

edits for extra :above: 's.

I had bit of a rest when I hit the start of each stage, as it goes from action to creation and I find I'm not at my most creative when just having completed a stage.

Is anyone else not seeing creatures created by buddies on the cell stage? I was just trying to see if I can get a little more variety, but it seems all i ever get is Maxis made people. :?

I think Cell Stage only uses Maxis creatures, so you cannot get all the parts by killing one creature. It's only 10 minutes really, I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, you can't even upload your own cells.

Not that there's really too much you can custom create with them anyway.

Kind of pointless giving us a cell creator if we can't do anything with them.

I'm rather enjoying my most recent game. I've picked up enough from my last few attempts to start making some decent money by getting a planet with purple spice to T3. I've a neutral buffer between me and the nearest enemy and a friendly on the end of the arm by the looks of things. Bad news for you guys that my Deep Ones made it to space though - if my Carriens were marathon killers then these guys are sprinters. I wiped out every other competitor on the planet in a couple of hours, barely stopping between kills. Quite exhilarating, but bed time prevented me getting that achievement from going from Cell to Space in one sitting.

Around me all empires mine only red and yellow spice. I make good money from selling green, purple, pink and blue to each ones (I have planets making 360 spices per hour with each piece of spice selling for over 15000)

Anyone come across my T-rex yet? I'm quite proud of him, he's done well.

Not that I've seen, but I have wiped out a whole planet of cock-monsters (Magentas by Lat I think) so I could colonise it. Quite disturbing, that.

I don't believe personalities go through on shared material, or we would all be fucked by our friend's ultra hardcore creatures.
Your Deep Ones speak with squeaky voices for me, so I allied with them and they're begging me for help now. :}

Likewise with Baliame's Sharky people.

Yeah, they've got squeaky voices for me too. Quite odd. Funny how the Carriens are hyper-aggressive in everyone's games though. I wonder if certain body parts dictate how creatures will act in space.
