L4D isn't out until November I think, and Ross just confirmed Fallout 3 is not reviewed next issue.Dog Pants wrote:The 'yes' was in reference to someone asking if the reviewer got pre-made high level characters so that they could test higher level stuff. If it's not WAR it's probably going to be L4D or Fallout 3, but my money's on WAR.
Looking at this month's mag it's slated to contain:
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway
Warhammer: Age of Reckoning
Crysis: Warhead
The PCG team have been really looking forward to Hell's Highway, and I predict Crysis:Warhead to be crap anyway (or at least of no interest to me), so my money's still on WAR.
Prediction: They removed all the interesting bits, the RvR is broken, it ends up just like Warcraft/LotRO.
GOA have lost my custom. I don't expect a beta to work perfectly (That's why it's still a beta after all) but 4 days later they're still saying everythings going swimingly, everyone has access, they're awesome blah blah etc
Reality is I and seemingly alot of others, still havn't had our accounts validated so we can log in. I'm hearing great things from the US beta test though, so if 5punkers are going to be interested in playing WAR, make sure you get the US client. Rumour has it, EU players are getting a better ping on those than the GOA EU servers as well, but clearly I can't support that one. Whole thing is like watching a re-run of the DAOC EU support, and why mythic went with goa again I suspect few of us will ever know.
