I'm sure I remeber you saying at the time the reason you'd stoped was because you couldn't face making the needed isk to fit and insure your shiny new megathron
Yes, I'm in pedant mode, otherwise I agree with what you said

is exactly why I stopped playing EVE. But then, its also why I stopped playing CoH, WoW, and damn near every other MMO Ive ever played. Eventually, all games will stop being fun after you have played them to death, but MMO's have a nasty habit of keeping you playing because you feel you have somehow invested in it, and stopping would be a waste.
Which is clearly bollocks, when you think about it, but its easy to find yourself thinking that way by accident.

No, I'd spent months gathering all the materials together to build the ship, and then when it was finally complete I was left with the feeling of "so what?". I sank hours into building that thing, and for what? I took a step back and realised I'd more or less been treating it as a second job.
The fact that I would've needed to "work" longer to fit the thing up was just extra - I'd realised for a while I hadn't been enjoying it. I took the ship out for one flight then fucked the whole thing off with no looking back.
You mentioned not that long ago that you were dreaming about EvE for two whole weeks while you didn't have access to it. If you'd only just started playing it that would be understandable (see: hypnogogia), but if that were me that would be a big flashing warning light telling me I'd been playing something for much longer than was healthy.
That was years ago, about 3 weeks after I got into eve proper, then went on holiday
So yep, fits. Very occasionally my dreams bring in minor elements of eve (Spaceships etc), but that's so rare as to barely register. I dream about partying, pulling, etc more.
