If you are buying a Sky subscription, please call 08442 411 216 and quote "NSHARE+"

With reference number:
FREE480040553669
or
FREE250040553670

Then they'll upgrade our crappy old Sky box to a Sky+ box for free, and I'll love you forever.

You also get a free Sky+ box (or Sky+ HD for £75).

It might be worth calling and complaining about. Sometimes they'll do stuff to make you happy. Rarely, yes but it can happen.

Here is a stupidly high res scan of the front and back of the little card I give to my friend. You might want to check the small print just in case they being sneaky cunts in any way.

If you do go ahead with it... would you be so kind as to send me your 12 digit contract number so I can claim my free box too.

What HD content is there on Sky? I get BBC HD plus a few HD things in TV choice with Virgin, but there's not very much there. I fancy ITV HD, but it might be better to get an HD freesat DV recorder, should they ever appear.

Oh nuts.

I misread. I thought you said that they would upgrade OUR original Sky box to Sky +.
I didn't realise you meant yours.

Shit.
In such case, no. Bollocks.

I asked the engineer about HD when he was fitting my equipment. According to him even the HD channels only show HD some of the time. He said that what was in HD was great, but there wasn't a lot of it. Sport mainly, it would seem. He admitted that he should probably be trying to sell it to me, but that to be honest he was probably going to cancel his until there was more HD stuff actually being broadcast.
