Dirk is ginger, ergo he has no soul.

Excellent for RP use as an excuse to be a psychopath.

Not ginger dammit!

Anyway, with the 13 Xp I had I've increased my Illumination to rank 6 and my Communique to 4

Well update your character sheet then and send it to me. All mine are out of date I think, apart from maybe Deject's.

Speaking of character sheets, I was considering going crazy with them and adding insta-shoot or insta-skill buttons. Would people be interested in these?

I may need to send it to you on the old style sheet - never found a way to put the DeathSuit bonuses in (e.g. increased PHYS)

I think I worked out how to put the Deathsuit bonuses on. And by insta-fight I mean a button which works out your hit score with tickboxes for modifiers and things. Shouldn't be too hard so long as I can code in the random seed.

that'd be pretty cool. it's not all that hard to do it the way we do it now, but an insta-fight button could be cool

Sorry last night was a little short. Unfortunately work has scuppered a lot of my plans for this weekend so I couldn't afford a late night, and we probably only had about 10 minutes of play left before the game would be getting too involved to easily stop.

Quick rules question DP, if I attacked someone with both my mutilator glove and my long knife, what kind of negatives am I looking at? I can't find the rules on multiple skill use in the book so I figured you'd know. I am ambidextrous, but I know that doesn't do much for dual wielding.

Well, dual wielding usually means you split your skill between the weapons. This assumes you're using the same weapon in each hand though. I'd say a quick and easy rule would be to use half each's skill. I'd go further to say that you could take points from one skill and put them into the other, so for example:

Say you had a 1-h blade skill of 4 and an unarmed combat skill of 6, you'd attack with the blade at rank 2 and the glove at rank 3, but you could take a point from unarmed and add it to 1-h blade to make them 3 and 2 respectively. Obviously this will only extend up to the actual level of the skill, not higher.

Ambidextrous means that you're not at a negative modifier for using your offhand. A character dual-wielding without being ambidex would suffer a -3 penalty to their second weapon.

These rules also go for firearms. Incidentally, rifles can be fired one handed (and so technically could be dual wielded), but the recoil is doubled and there is a -2 penalty for the weapon not being balanced to fire one handed.

Just thought of a potentially interesting issue. If I gave Gerald two extra arms, then bought four guns, what would that make the negative modifiers for the extra arms, bearing in mind he isn't ambidextrous?

got those numbers at random did ya? ;) Thanks, I was just thinking emasculating some ass with both melee weapons while screaming at them would make for good TV. I'd obviously have my camera on a stick positioned to get a kind of over the shoulder view if at all possible.

The same, but the skill would be divided into four rather than two.

I did actually, did I get your figures? And I assume you mean your AV stalk, which you should be able to position on a shoulder mounted maghold.
