So is it thursday or friday? Date or day?

I'd guess it's a valentine's present from valve.

I found myself enjoying TEEF last night, a rare thing that I hope is the start of a trend. Hopefully a new map might just give my tastes a shove in the right direction.

TEEF needs a spandex mod so we play it more often.

It's good, very balanced unless one team doesn't push forward with attackers, then it becomes pretty much a foregone conclusion, the last point has numerous entrance/exits and is very hard to shutdown.

I have noticed that every time I die I'm now told my sentry gun killed more than the last round, even when I'm not engineering. So either my install is a bit bolloxed or the update has introduced new bugs.

the dustbowl change is rather handy too. :ahoy:

I've suffered from the paused download thing, but have no way to gauge if download speeds are increased, as the bandwidth monitor quite often reports peak download speeds that are in excess of what's technically possible with my current connection.

ZOMG! It has exploit! You can get under the map and build turrets that shoot at the bridge from inside the rocks nearby, I dunno how, but it didn't take long.

Does anyone else get the bug where instead of registering kills as kills, they're "sentry kills" (even as a demoguy or a spy or any other class, lol)

I've had that, didn't do it last night, but did the night of release.

Aaaand, it's fixed (kinda) it's possible to add entities to the map server side (with not downloads for players) so the holes am blocked.

They patched that in an optional update, should be fixed on most servers now.

I just tested and got under the map, both on our server and a random one.
