Bioshock - Wider Is Better [Display Heads Up]
Bioshock - Wider Is Better [Display Heads Up]
Back when it was first revealed that BioShock developers had made some very odd widescreen choices, cropping the standard 4::3 mode instead of starting with widescreen and cropping to achieve standard, many people called 'no big deal' on the situation. Now that the Xbox 360 patchhas dropped adding true widescreen, Videogamer.com has posted comparison shots of old widescreen versus new, and the difference is amazing. I'd daresay owners of the game might want to play through it again to get the full experience of BioShock in really-real widescreen. Hit the link for more comparison shots.

They'd need to be pretty amazing to get me to play much beyond trying them out a couple of times.Grimmie wrote:Gamespot news mentions new tonics and plasmids with this update.
That wouldn't do it, either.Gamespot wrote:One difference between the PC patch and the Xbox 360 update is that the latter includes a new achievement for the game. Xbox 360 players will now be able to earn 100 gamerscore points and the "Brass Balls" achievement by beating the game on hard difficulty without dying.
A new area might have, but I played this - enjoyed it certainly - but have no real reason to play it again. I don't even think MP would work too well - the plasmids are pretty powerful and it would be rather annoying to have them used on you all the time.

I did the boss battle again, with my existing plasmids and the Grenade Launcher - which I'd been saving and hadn't actually used the first time.
It was a bit easy, going back to it it knowing what to do and I didn't need a single health injection. So, unless there's a new area where I don't know the scripting and enemy spawns, there's not much reason to go back.

I think you have to harvest ALL the little sisters to get the bad ending, NONE for the good ending, and anything in-between for the other one.buzzmong wrote:While they're is a bioshock one active, I comepleted it last week, and well, unless I just rushed it, I didn't see an option to choose the bad ending.
It just automatically put me in for the good ending.
Am I doing it right?
