Guitar Hero custom trackery

Post by Nicketal »

As guitar hero 3 looms has anyone been clever/daring enough to make any custom tracks on GH 1/2/80s. As tempting as it seems I'm not brave enough to do such Elite Hacks on my consoles. Has anyone here had the testicular fortitude to shred some gnarly riffs on their favourite tune that those chaps at Red Octane just couldn't clear with the legal department?

Bonuses any I Love Horses adaptations.

Have to say I don't play it, and I think it's rather shit. The missus loves it, but I've told her if she wants it for the 360, she can pay, and because it costs a fucking shitload, she's given up on ever getting it. Singstar on the other hand, thats all kinds of win... :P

Yup, and the Wii guitar hero is in mono, which is odd, to say the least.

I was thinking about getting it for the PS3 but I was wondering, if I buy the PS3 Guitar, will I be able to play GH1/2/80's on the PS3, using the PS3 guitar?

I played a demo of GH3 the other day on the 360. I was using a standard controller which made it very hard, but it seemed like a lot of fun and I'm tempted to get it. That's about as close as I've got to the games.

Play it on the PC, and have no problems putting custom tracks in!

Obviously you'd have to buy a usb or wireless version of the guitar, otherwise you're stuck playing the keyboard. although, if you pick the keyboard up, and hold it against your chest, you can use the F1 F2 F3 and F4 keys!
