just wondering if anybody knew anything about the weapon upgrades. i know you have to play on ranked servers, but what do you have to do? just own or do you have to do loads of the 'suport' type things, like giving ammo or health. does it upgrade one at a time, or will they all unlock after so much own? and did i leave the iron on?
cant find it anywhere, and it has me rather puzzled.

Gain ranks

Do both really, you gain ranks with the point system, this increases as you kill cap/defend flags, or revive or restock teammates

Once you get up to the correct rank, as far as i know you are given the choice to unlock a class' weapon. The rank you need is Lance Corporal, which comes after Private and Private First Class

Also keep an eye out for badges/medals/ribbons, my favourites include the basic $class badge, which you get if you get 10 kills with a class in one game and the airborne badge which involves jumping out of a very high vehicle and parachuting down. It may also involve dropping c4 and detonating it as you drop but i may have just added that for shits and giggles.

yeah, i only have 2 medals though, bloody airborne ribbon didnt register.

Also, how did you get the transport one?

i tried jumping from realy high but it didnt do anything, i guess you have to do it often. i got that from just racing around in the cars like an absolute loon

Nah, you get in a copter or plane and just get up to bout 400m, then jump out, freefall for a sec, pull your chute and land safely, that got me the ribbon

Yep, thats me, finally got my airborne ribbon to register today, so i'm a happy special ops-supar killar-airborne man.
Now all i need is the transport badge

same here, did mine around 2:30. Took chopper to 415 feet, jumped out, waited 5 seconds, pulled cord, landed got badge, had wank.

ive been busy. why does nobody use the hand grenade? i got like 10 people within 20 seconds on a 64man server the other day. dont think it was ranked tho
