ok ive just tried it with MrGreen's Soundblaster and apart from sound only coming out of the front speaker jack on the soundblaster, the front right speaker still isnt making a noise. i think there must be something wrong with the wiring or something.

But that does make it 99% not the card, it's an answer, with which you can get a solution to b0rked speakers. Rma them. Unless they were bought in rl, (which is silly because things always cost more) in which case take them back and shout until you get a replacement to the next set of speakers up the chain.
