Ok then, we need one more person to have a nice round 8 teams.

From the CPL site the maps I found mentioned were Dust2, Train, Inferno, Nuke, Mill and Cbble. Now I really don't know many of the maps well, and certainly not well enough to judge on them being "fair" for both teams, so what do you think?

I say we use dust and inferno. I say these maps are fairly small so people won't be so easily lost or make it too hard to spot people.

Is it dust2 or dust? I'm not bothered either way, just want to clarify. (I agree with Deject's choice of inferno.)

i vote dust, it's a pretty balanced level, and very defendable from both sides, using few people unlike dust 2 (which is good for 5v5 or higher)

the original dust. dust2 could be used, but the original would be really goood for a 2 vs. 2 battle. I only picked inferno because a) I love it, and b) it's one of the smallest de_ maps that isn't dust or dust2. cbble, chateau, port, aztec are all a bit to big for 4 people. With Inferno, you at least can get to the other side pretty quick.

maybe we should play piranesi, lol...

another reason i can't join in then, my PC won't load inferno, nuke or militia. It just freezes as soon as it finishes loading.
does anybody have any clue whats wrong, would a ram upgrade help? or will i have to get a gfx card with more ram?

This sounds to me like you should threaten it with a stick till it runs in dx7 rather than actually change anything yourself.
