Didn't the wild kittens eat the cleaners? If not we should put more butter on them.

Re: Laptop for sister
iPad or equivalent tablet with keyboard and stand would prob be more suitable for those tasks unless MS Office use is going to be the main job. Otherwise just get the cheapest laptop you can find and it will easily handle that sort of stuff. I recently got a zotac mini PC with HDMI to plug into my T...

Re: Neverwinter
Installed this yesterday cos I had a spare weekend to kill. It's actually very good in an apologetically F2P MMO way. In fact it has cherry picked all the bits so carefully that it actually feels reminiscent of GW2 because it's clearly taken some inspiration from that for the open world instancing. ...

Build a fire. Build a shelter. Kill animals for meat. Protect yourself from other players. Create alli...

Re: I Keep Meaning To Play That.
I've just returned to PotBS after it got resurrected by the original developer. Still F2P and with some very reasonable pricing on the pay to do better stuff parts, it is however still the same old game - flat textures, static weather and fairly repetitive missions. For all that it's basically WoW i...

Re: Spare Steams
It's a good game. Silly steep learning curve and helps if you have half a clue about medieval inheritance precedents like agnatic-cognatic-pragmatic-bombastic-primogeniture. Or something. Still fucks with my head trying to work it out. Wars of the Roses makes sense once you play this - killing each ...

I saw the prince's stable, and there they were, four white horses. You should have one, they taste nicer than kittens.

Re: I apparently dont like shooters any more
I've never made a secret of the fact that I find run and gun shooters inherently dull both in SP and MP. That is of course with the exception of ArmA2/3, which I still find enthralling when played as a (semi) serious business military simulator with 30 other bods doing our best to use proper tactics...

Hullo Noodz! Pete's actually a nice guy. No, really I'm not just saying that.
Also, have a kitten, they taste really nice this time of year.

Re: Things that look shiny in 2014
Pretty much guaranteed we won't see Squadron 42 in 2014, let alone Star Citizen. I have no doubt it'll get delayed. Elite: Dangerous has me quietly excited. Satellite Reign, if they can pull it off Sims is one of those games I know I'd play intensely for a week and never touch again, so I can't just...

Re: Roberts Space Industries
CR actually addresses that in his 20mill post on the website. It's a concern that is being raised by a lot of people. In short, he's saying that all the current stretch goals were planned content but the extra cash means they can hire more and/or outsource to get them done sooner rather than later. ...

Re: Gaming architecture
Oblivion had some great architecture which made you stop and stare in wonder when coming over a hill for the first time. Out of left field, Mount & Blade Warband is the only game that's created castles that feel authentic. Sadly the game never managed to utilise them fully but there's hope for t...

Re: Roberts Space Industries
I’m very opposed to having a game where ANY of the items, outside of your initial game / ship package can be only purchased with cash. I hate the bifurcation of items in most online games, even when they are just for flair items. I want Star Citizen to allow players to earn everything they need in-...
